Kristin Hall
General ManagerKristin Hall began volunteering at KYUK in 2011 as a DJ and on-air host. What started as a
volunteer role quickly grew into a career in public media, as she took on positions in radio
production, programming, and station operations. After spending seven years in Bethel, Kristin moved to Anchorage, where she managed the individual giving program at Alaska Public Media. In 2018, she returned to KYUK as Development Director, leading fundraising, major grant initiatives, and long-term sustainability efforts for the station. Over the years, she’s overseen major infrastructure and expansion projects, and helped launch KYUK’s first endowment fund. She now serves as KYUK’s General Manager.
Kristin never misses Marketplace, and her favorite KYUK program will always be The Birthday Line.
