A Bethel man has been arrested and charged with murder. On Feb. 7, Bethel Police and medics arrived at the 400 block of Owl Street just after 5:30 p.m. There they found Ian Chase Matthew Makaily, age 21, dead from a “traumatic injury,” according to a police statement.
Police arrested Joshua Evan Kelly-Morris, age 21, and charged him with murder in the first degree. Kelly-Morris was then remanded to the Yukon Kuskokwim Correctional Center in Bethel.
Police have asked the state crime lab to assist with investigating the scene.
