News ReporterOriginally from the northeast, Will started in journalism working for a documentary film company in Texas and interning at the Austin Chronicle. After working as a producer at a TV news station, Will moved to California to earn a master's degree at the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism. After graduation, Will worked as a contract reporter for the Investigative Reporting Program and a freelance science journalist. Outside of work, he likes to ride his bike to new places.

The village of Nunapitchuk has started constructing a new laundromat and water treatment building after their old one began to sink into the tundra and tilt dangerously to one side. If the building collapses, the village may lose access to treated water.
