State troopers have identified suspects in a shooting that occurred in Russian Mission on July 28. The assault left one person injured. The suspects remain at large and no arrests have been made.

Troopers obtained arrest warrants for 20-year-old Tyler Housler and 20-year-old Jalen Minock, both Russian Mission residents. They are being charged with attempted murder, robbery, assault, and misconduct involving a weapon. If you have any information about where Housler or Minock are located, contact troopers in Bethel at 543-2294.

According to troopers, six people were returning from a boating trip last week when three men hiding in the woods with long guns ambushed them. One man was shot in the torso and arm. He was medevaced to Anchorage and was last reported to be in good condition. Shots were also fired into a home where the rest of the people in the boat took cover. Nobody in the home was injured.
