  • Growing rhodiola rosea is a relatively new enterprise in Alaska, and one that may be suited to the open country of the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta. Dr. Petra Illig’s company, Alaska Rhodiola Enterprises, works with farms to sell thei product. She is here on the phone to talk about why she thinks rhodiola rosea has a unique potential in the arctic.

Photographer James Barker was named the 2022 Distinguished Artist by the Rasmuson Foundation. He and his wife, Robyn Barker, join Katie Basile for “Coffee at KYUK.”
