Basketball is the favorite sport in many schools throughout the Yukon-Kuskokwim region, but sometimes there just aren’t enough students at the village school to make up a team. That was the case with Mekoryuk until this year, but now there are enough players to hit the court.Joining KYUK’s Greg Kim today are Mekoryuk’s basketball coach, Edward Kiokun, and sophomore team member Harvey Wesley.
