Navajo Nation, located in the Southwest region of the United States, is currently experiencing the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic. Navajo Nation is similar to the Y-K Delta in a lot of ways. Residents in both areas face overcrowding in homes, many don’t have access to running water, and there is limited health care infrastructure in both places due to geographic remoteness. Both regions are also facing devastating rates of COVID-19 infection.
