Next week will mark one year since the first person in the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta tested positive for the coronavirus. A year later, the region has one of the highest vaccination rates in the country and things are looking up. However, outbreaks are beginning again after a decrease in cases in early March. KYUK's Anna Rose MacArthur talks with Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation Chief of Staff Dr. Ellen Hodges about why these outbreaks are occurring, and how to stop them.
