This post has been updated.

A 19-year-old man from Alakanuk has been recovered. Alaska State Troopers report that Alakanuk Search and Rescue found the body of Clyde Edmund Jr. on Sunday and sent it to Anchorage for an autopsy.

Clyde Edmund Jr. had jumped into a slough in front of Alakanuk and never came out. The troopers in Emmonak were contacted on July 24.

Meanwhile, the search continues for a man missing in Akiachak. Thirty-five-year-old Joseph Ekamrak went missing last Friday, but left his boat and cell phone behind. Anyone with information regarding either man should call 907-269-5038
