LKSD Delivering Meals And Educational Packets To Bethel Students

During school closures, the Lower Kuskokwim School District is still providing students with meals and the materials necessary for schoolwork. Those will be delivered to students in Bethel starting Monday, March 23.

Meals will be delivered between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., depending on where you live in Bethel:

BUS 1

11:00 a.m. - 11:20 a.m. 6th and Main (7th Day Adventist Church)

11:30 a.m. - 11:50 a.m. Hanger Lake/Osier

12:00 p.m. - 12:20 p.m. East Avenue (Across from Lisa's Party Depot)

12:30 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. 161 Atsak 2nd Rd Housing (AVCP Headstart)

BUS 2

11:00 a.m. - 11:20 a.m. Trailer Court (Josh's Court)

11:30 a.m. - 11:50 a.m. 127 Alex Hately (ONC) (Blueberry Sub)

12:00 p.m. - 12:20 p.m. 450 Katie Hately (Blueberry Sub)

12:30 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. 4301 Amy's Way (Larson Sub)

BUS 3

11:00 a.m. - 11:20 a.m. AVCP Housing (Ptarmigan Rd)

11:30 a.m. - 11:50 a.m. Quiviq Sub Bus Stop

LKSD Superintendent Dan Walker said that if you’d rather pick up lunch from school, that will continue to be an option.

Educational material delivery will only be available for Bethel Regional High School and MikeInguut Elitnaurviat. The packets will be dropped off on March 23 and picked up March 30. Bethel Regional High School Principal Doug Boyer said that new packets will continue to be dropped off if school closures continue.
