Over the weekend, the Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation announced 17 positive COVID-19 results, its largest spike yet in new coronavirus cases. As of Aug. 26, the YKHC website lists 78 total cases in the region since the pandemic began; a third of those cases are currently active. YKHC Chief of Staff Dr. Ellen Hodges joins us on Coffee@KYUK to talk about this jump in cases, and what we can do to prevent another spike in the future.
