The Alaska Federation of Natives is hosting its annual convention next week. The event will run Monday, Dec. 13 and Tuesday, Dec. 14 and will be held virtually. The convention theme is ANCSA at 50: Empowering Our Future. Multiple sessions on the first day will focus on the origins and consequences of this landmark legislation: the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA).

There are many ways to watch the convention live. Tune in on the AFN website or Facebook page, on TV station 360 North, GCI and Yukon TV channel 1, and ARCS. You can also listen to the entire convention live on KYUK 640 AM from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and then from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. each day.
