Rick Thoman is an Alaska Climate Specialist at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. He is an expert in Alaska climate and weather. His work spans the bridge between climate modeling, Alaska communities and media. Thoman retired from National Weather Service Alaska Region in 2018.
