Alaska Department of Fish and Game has announced a commercial salmon opening in the Bethel-Lower Kuskokwim area. The six-hour opening is Friday, July 29 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Subdistrict 1-A. This area is defined as that portion of District 1 upstream of regulatory markers located at Bethel to ADF&G regulatory markers at the mouth of Bogus Creek. The opening is for catcher/sellers registered with ADF&G. Subsistence fishing will remain open during this time.
