A car struck a pedestrian at Watson's Corner intersection in Bethel, Alaska around 10:10 a.m. on Oct. 7, 2021.

A pedestrian was hit by a car at the Watson’s Corner intersection in Bethel on Oct. 7. Bethel Police Chief Richard Simmons said that a car and a pedestrian collided at the intersection around 10:10 a.m. Simmons said that the female pedestrian, age 50, was transported by first responders to the Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation emergency department with non-life-threatening injuries.
