Eligible Calista shareholders can apply for $325 in pandemic federal relief funds.

Calista Corporation shareholders who’ve experienced economic harm during the pandemic have more time to apply for federal financial relief. The application deadline has been extended to Nov. 30. It was originally set for Nov. 15.

The money comes from the $12.2 million in CARES Act Tribal Relief funds that came to the Native regional corporation.

Eligible shareholders can apply for $325 in relief funds. To be eligible, shareholders have to attest to having been financially harmed by the pandemic between March 2020 and December 2021. Guardians can file on behalf of minors and dependents.

Calista shareholders can apply for the funds online. Eligible shareholders who applied by the original deadline of Nov. 15 should receive a direct deposit or have paper checks go out by Dec. 8. Eligible shareholders who apply between Nov. 16 and Nov. 30 should expect payments to go out by Dec. 27.
