An alleged threat by a student put the Tuluksak school on lockdown Friday. The school has provided no comment on the incident so far, and details remain scarce. Tuluksak Village Administrator Henry Peter says that Tuluksak's tribal police officers dealt with the student, putting an end to the lockdown.

The student is a juvenile and no identity was provided. Alaska State Troopers released a brief statement confirming that they were contacted at 11:26 a.m., that no injuries took place, and that the Department of Juvenile Justice was contacted. The lockdown was in effect for roughly 45 minutes to an hour.
