Tuluksak Village Administrator Henry Peter says that Tuluksak's tribal police officers dealt with the student, putting an end to the lockdown.
The student is a juvenile and no identity was provided. Alaska State Troopers released a brief statement confirming that they were contacted at 11:26 a.m., that no injuries took place, and that the Department of Juvenile Justice was contacted. The lockdown was in effect for roughly 45 minutes to an hour.
