Joining us this morning for “Coffee” is KYUK’s Johanna Eurich, who spent Saturday talking to mushers getting ready to head out on the Iditarod Trail, including Pete Kaiser, Jessica Klejka, and Dallas Seavey. Seavey is a five-time winner. Johanna spoke first with Bethel’s Pete Kaiser, who won the Iditarod in 2019.

Joining us for “Coffee” is Mark Nordman, the Race Director for the Iditarod. He’s in charge of marking the trail for mushers competing in the race. He spoke with KYUK’s Johanna Eurich about the trail this year, and the changes he has seen in the past decades of the Iditarod.
