Early in the morning on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 25, village police officers in Chevak found two people dead in their home. That’s according to the Alaska State Troopers, who were called to the scene later that day to investigate. The two that were found dead were Frances Slats, age 30, and Robin Atcherian, age 28; the families have been notified. Troopers sent their bodies to the State Medical Examiner’s Office for autopsy, and the results are pending. Troopers say that the investigation is ongoing.
