Chicken Puns Are Fowl, But These Wings Are Not

Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings

Wing Ingredients

  • 1/2 tsp. minced garlic
  • Chicken wings (raw)
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/4th onion (diced)
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 cup olive oil

Sauce Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning

Directions:

  1. Place the raw chicken wings in a large bowl.
  2. Add 1 teaspoon of minced garlic, 1/2 tsp. of black pepper, Italian seasoning, onion powder, and 1 tsp. of salt.
  3. Add the diced onion and 1/4 cup olive oil to the ingredients and mix. Cover and let marinate for a hour. 
  4. To make the sauce, place 2 tbsp. of butter into a microwave safe bowl and microwave for about 20 seconds, or until melted. Add 1/2 tsp. of onion powder and Italian seasoning then mix together. 
  5. After the hour is up, place wings in the airfryer in a single cook for 14 minutes at 355 degrees. Flip wings and repeat. 
  6. Place cooked wings in a large mixing bowl. Pour the sauce over them and mix until the wings are coated. 
  7. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup of grated parmesan over the wings and enjoy.
