Smoked Strips And Summer: An Un-bait-able Combo

Smoked Salmon Strips

Ingredients: 

  • Salmon of your choice
  • Salt
  • Water
  • Alder wood

Directions:

  1. Go fishing for the salmon you prefer. 
  2. Gut the fish, clean it, and cut it into thin strips. 
  3. Mix salt into the water until it creates a brine-like substance.
  4. Dip or soak the strips in the brine.
  5. Make a fire with the alder wood.
  6. Hang soaked strips above the fire; leave in a smokehouse until dry.
