The results of Alaska's primary election on Tuesday, Aug. 18 will decide who will be on the ballot for a U.S. Senate seat in November. Also up for a vote is who will be on the ballot for Alaska’s only seat in the U.S. House of Representatives. The polls open Aug. 18 at 7 a.m., and close at 8 p.m.

For state office, the candidate for District 38 in the Alaska House is incumbent Tiffany Zulkosky, a Democrat. She is running unopposed; there are no candidates for District 38 on the Republican ballot.

There are two voting precincts in Bethel. The polling place for Precinct 1 is at the  Bethel Regional High School student clinic. The address is 1 Ron Edwards Memorial Dr. The polling place for Precinct 2 is at the Yupit Piciryarait Cultural Center. That’s located at 420 Chief Eddie Hoffman Highway.

Correction: An earlier version of this article misidentified the location of the polling place for Precinct 1.
