Police Respond To Bethel's Tundra Ridge

Bethel Police conducted a welfare check at a home in Tundra Ridge Subdivision on March 23. Fire and medical personnel also responded to the scene. 

KYUK previously reported that Bethel police took a suspect into custody following a standoff in Bethel’s Tundra Ridge subdivision on March 23. KYUK based its reporting on information from the Bethel Fire Department. Fire personnel later told KYUK that their information was incorrect. 

Bethel Chief of Police Richard Simmons confirmed that no suspect was taken into custody. He said that he hopes to confirm more details regarding the event in the coming days.
