Bethel Native Corporation’s shareholders will get a slightly higher dividend this year: 7 cents more per share than last year. That’s a total of $408 for 100 shares.
BNC’s Settlement Trust, set up two years ago, is charged with distributing dividends with 20% of the village corporation’s averaged revenue during the past five years. Since it was established, the trust has paid shareholders a total of over $2 million. That’s compared with a total dividend distribution of $11 million from the corporation during prior years.
