Bethel Police Seek Help Catching Suspects

Four burglaries in five days have sparked a police investigation in Bethel. Police believe these incidents are connected and are looking for help from the community in identifying the suspects.

Bethel Police Sergeant Amy Davis says a group of thieves raided vending machines and tampered with safes at AVCP, ONC, and Yuut and Raven airlines between May 6 and 10.

According to Davis at least two of the buildings had security cameras, which the suspects tried unsuccessfully to disable.

The cameras show the burglars working in groups of three or four, often wearing back-hooded sweatshirts and blue surgical gloves.

The footage captures the faces of at least one of the perpetrators.

Photos are clear and police believe residents will be able to identify the group.

If you know who the suspects are call the Bethel Police Department at 907-543-3781.

Correction: The type of crime was misidentified in an earlier version of this story. The error has been corrected.
