Six Bethel businesses have won “Best in the West” small business grants. Bethel Community Services Foundation awarded $33,500 to seven local entrepreneurs.
The winners include: Carole Jung Jordan and John Jordan, who got $9,000 for Jung and Jordan Trucking. Joe Pete received $3,000 for Apollo Home Solutions. Patrick Samson got $5,000 for Tundra Leather. Aleashia Huber received $4,500 for Cooper Cleaning Co. Teddy Berry was awarded $7,000 for Berry Upholstery. And finally, Yvonne Jackson received $5,000 for Alaska Rural Professional Development.
The Bethel Community Services Foundation will honor the winners at a 6:30 p.m. reception on May 7 at the Bethel Cultural Center.
