The "Gold Bowl" came out Tuesday night to honor departing members of the Bethel City Council.
“I’m presenting to Mark Springer our typical gold bowl, and it says the city would like to thank you for your dedication and leadership, and it’s been a true pleasure. Thank you,” said City Clerk Lori Strickler. Strickler also presented the bowl to former mayor Rick Robb, who served nine consecutive years on the City Council and had one of its best attendance records in recent years.
Brian Henry was also honored, though not present, for his time filling former council member Naim Shabani’s seat these past few months.
