The Lower Kuskokwim School District is scrambling to reopen the Akiuk Memorial School in Kasigluk after a fire there last week. KYUK’s Anna Rose MacArthur spoke with Superintendent Kimberly Hankins about the fire and the effort to open school in time this fall.
