The crash in salmon numbers on the Yukon River has prompted the Federal Subsistence Board to order the federalization of management on the river. Holly Carroll, the biologist managing the fishery for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, spoke with KYUK’s Anna Rose MacArthur about what this will mean for those fishing on the Yukon River this summer and fall.
