On Sept. 7, the Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation reopened its drive-through COVID-19 testing clinic across the street from the hospital. The reopening follows a recent surge in cases across the Y-K Delta and the nation. The clinic will be open every day, except for Sundays, from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m.

YKHC has advised that close contacts of people with known cases of COVID-19 and symptomatic people should get tested at this site. YKHC also has another testing site at the hospital, with hours from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. YKHC said that close contacts and symptomatic people should call first to schedule an appointment before using the location inside the hospital.
