33-Year-Old Bethel Resident Found Dead In Her Apartment

On July 13 at around 6 p.m. in Bethel, police found a woman dead in her apartment. The woman is 33-year-old Jamie Brink. Police said that her boyfriend called them after finding her in her apartment on 6th Avenue in the Alligator Acres Subdivision.

Bethel Police Chief Richard Simmons said that there was nothing to indicate foul play. Simmons also said that the death is under investigation, and that Brink’s body has been sent to the Chief Medical Examiner’s office in Anchorage for an autopsy. Simmons said that typical wait times for results from Anchorage have been about two months.
