Pete Kaiser Leaves Galena in Sixteenth Place On His Way To Huslia

Pete Kaiser is in 16^th position on the Iditarod trail and left the Galena checkpoint at 10:33 a.m. with 15 dogs after completing his 24 hour layover. The Galena checkpoint is 396 miles into the historic trail. While in Galena, APRN’s Zachariah Hughes talked with Kaiser about his dogs, trail conditions, and strategy moving ahead.
