This year marks the 50th Anniversary of KYUK going on the air. Today you can join us for “Coffee at KYUK” as we begin a series of anniversary programs featuring people who have worked here at the station.
The person joining us today has been here longer than anyone else on staff. Dean Swope’s voice is heard every day, because he announces KYUK's underwriting credits. He has been working here since the 80s, doing everything from switching video channels to taking photographs and videos. He was even a volunteer DJ.
