Salmon and open fish camps are hard to find along the Yukon River

A team of scientists have found a treasure trove of nearly 90 footprints made almost 100 million years ago by ancient birds and dinosaurs who once roamed along the Yukon River. While traveling with the scientists, KYUK Senior Reporter Emily Schwing sees the signs of a salmon fishery in decline in abandoned smokehouses and fish camps along the river.
