Scientists are trying to figure out what has caused the crash in certain salmon populations on the Yukon River. They are focusing on a pest the fish may have gotten in their food while in the deep ocean. KYUK’s Anna Rose MacArthur spoke with Holly Carrol, the managing biologist on the Yukon River for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
