Bethel police are still investigating yesterday's collision involving a city water truck. Police Lt. Amy Davis said that based on witness statements, the accident was caused when the driver of a maroon Ford truck missed a stop sign near the intersection of Schwalbe Street and Chief Hoffman Highway at about 2 p.m. on Monday. The driver of the city water truck was not injured; the driver of the maroon truck was taken from the scene by an ambulance.
