Vaccinated And Traveling To Bethel? No Need To Quarantine.

Bethel City Council voted to make a change to Bethel's COVID-19 travel and testing mandates on Feb. 23. According to the new regulations, travelers who have been fully vaccinated do not need to quarantine.

Residents and non-residents alike must have received both doses of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine, and then must have waited two weeks for it to take effect in order to meet these qualifications.

The Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation still recommends that people coming to Bethel get tested for COVID-19 both upon arrival and five days afterwards.
