Update: Rita Aguchak, age 15, returned safely to the Tundra Women’s Coalition around 11:15 p.m. on August 28, according to Bethel Police.
Original story: A 15-year-old girl has gone missing in Bethel. Bethel Police are asking the public’s help in finding the teenager, who police identify as a runaway. Rita Aguchak was last seen at the Tundra Women’s Coalition on Aug. 27 around 2 a.m. She is Alaskan Native with black hair and brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a black and white sweater and black pants. Bethel Police ask anyone with information on her whereabouts to call the police department at 543-3781.
