Update Oct. 13, 2020 5:30 p.m.: Delta Western closed its Bethel gas station on Oct. 8 after seven employees tested positive for COVID-19. The company reopened the gas station on Oct. 13.
Gas station attendants returned to work on Oct. 13 to operate the warehouse and provide customer support. Employees are only interacting with customers outside the gas station while wearing masks and keeping 6 feet apart.
“Delta Western ensured that all scheduled residential and commercial fuel deliveries were made during the closure,” Vice President of Marketing and Communications Thien-Di Do wrote in an email.
Correction: The original headline of this story was: "Delta Western Indefinitely Suspending Residential Fuel Deliveries." That information is incorrect. Delta Western continued commerical and residential fuel deliveries during its closure from Oct. 8 to 12.
