The fourth annual #BethelGives raised its highest amount in the campaign's history. The combination of individual and corporate donations contributed $45,556.97 to Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta nonprofits.

The money will be divided between 11 regional nonprofits: KYUK, Bethel Search and Rescue, Bethel Winter House Shelter, Tundra Women’s Coalition, Yuut Elitnaurviat, Future Delta Nurses, Bethel Family Clinic, Bethel Friends of Canines, YK Delta Lifesavers, Bethel Council on the Arts, and Kuskokwim Consortium Library.

The #BethelGives campaign, hosted by Bethel Community Services Foundation, ran November through December of 2019. The event is a local take on the national #GivingTuesday campaign that follows Thanksgiving and encourages people to donate to local organizations during the holiday and winter season.

Anna Rose MacArthur served as KYUK's News Director from 2015-2022.
