Bethel Police Arrest Suspect in Connection to Multiple Burglaries

Bethel Police arrested 22-year-old Travis Dostert for allegedly burglarizing a local air freight company, and after investigating, say he may be connected to other recent burglaries.

In their Facebook page, the Bethel Police Department said they received a call Wednesday morning around 8:30am saying ACE Cargo had been burglarized. Police investigated and later arrested Dostert. He was charged with felony burglary, theft and criminal mischief.

Police say they recovered some stolen property possibly connected to some burglaries reported in the past few months. They were able to recover some stolen items.

Police also arrested 33-year-old Alvin Chief of Bethel on charges of tampering with evidence and hindering prosecution in connection to the case.

Police say the case is still under investigation and ask anyone with information regarding the case to contact the Bethel Police Department.
