Alaskans Who Lost Income During Pandemic Can Apply For One Month's Housing Assistance

The State of Alaska has designated $10 million of federal CARES Act funds to help pay one month of housing costs for Alaskans behind in their rent or mortgage because of income lost during the pandemic. Stacey Barnes, Spokesperson for the Alaska Housing Finance Corporation, explains the program and how people can sign up. Apply online between June 15 and June 26 at www.alaskahousingrelief.org, or by calling or texing RELIEF to 833-440-0420.
