For most applicants, the Permanent Fund Dividend arrives next Thursday. Each check totals $1,606.00. That’s six more dollars than last year’s PFD amount and is the highest PFD since 2015 when checks reached $2,072.
According to the Alaska Department of Revenue, 631,000 Alaskans will receive dividends, totaling $1,013,000,000 in distribution.
Applicants who filed for their PFD online and chose direct deposit will receive their payment on or shortly after Thursday, Oct. 3. Alaskans who filed a paper application or selected payment through a paper check will receive their dividend after Oct. 24.
