10th Person In Y-K Delta Dies From COVID-19

The 10th person in the region died from complications with COVID-19 on Nov. 17. The individual was an Elder in their 90s, according to the Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation.

Also on Nov. 17, the 19th and 20th patients were admitted into the Bethel hospital for the virus.

On Nov. 16, the health corporation reported the youngest death associated with the virus in the region. That individual was in their 30s.

YKHC has announced 1,570 COVID-19 cases since March. There are 337 active cases in the region.
