On Tuesday evening, Bethel, Napakiak, and Oscarville will experience a four-hour power outage. Between the hours of 10 p.m. Tuesday and 2 a.m. Wednesday, all three communities will be without electricity. During this time the Alaska Village Electric Cooperative will be installing equipment inside the Bethel power plant to increase capacity for the New Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation Clinic expansion.
