Bethel Police Arrest Suspect in Stabbing Incident

After a week-long  investigation, Bethel Police have arrested 22-year-old Kyle Jones of Bethel as a suspect in a stabbing incident that occurred earlier this month.

The Bethel Police Department said in a press release, they got a call on Friday, May 13 around 2 a.m. that a male had been stabbed in the Pinky’s Park area of Bethel's City Subdivision.

Police identified the victim as William Pete. He was taken to the Yukon Kuskokwim Health Corporation for treatment.

Bethel Police interviewed Jones as a suspect and charged him with assault in the second degree.  He was remanded to the Yukon-Kuskokwim Correctional Center in Bethel.
