Bethel Girls Move On To Compete For Fourth Place At State; Bethel Boys Out Of Tournament

Bethel survives to play another match in the state 3A girls basketball tournament.

The Bethel girls defeated Galena 40 to 30 on Friday morning. The Warriors move on to play the Nikiski Bulldogs for fourth place on Saturday at 8 a.m. Catch the game live on KYUK 640 AM.

Bethel’s Warrior boys, meanwhile, fell out of the running for fourth place in the state tournament. They lost Friday's match with the Valdez Buccaneers by a final score of 50 to 41.
